…for now. An empty land has been made once more, that the whole great cycle of rise and ruin might begin again upon level ground. The chroniclers are already filming.

Remember them — the mighty and the fallen, the honoured and the infamous alike — for they carved their names into a world that keeps no scribe but memory; and memory forgets nothing, and forgives less.
